the staff was quick and friendly. it was a pretty small store but there's a bench to sit on. i got golden bubble milk tea, i enjoyed the tea and the golden boba was smaller than normal boba.

One of my local favorite places to get boba whenever I'm in the office at the ESB. Located in Koreatown, I usually opt for the Golden bubble milk tea or the Jasmin green tea at 25% sweetness with ninjas and coconut jelly. Sweetness levels here are on point as well as the genuine tea taste, so I'm a regular customer here at least 2-3 times a month! They also give out loyalty stamp cards which I stupidly keep on forgetting to bring...

A very minimalistic, modern tea shop! We did not get any tea-based drinks though, lol. The employee taking our order was very patient and answered the questions we had. Got the iced honey drink and brown sugar milk with golden pearls, both at the recommended 70% sugar level. Honestly, it was way too sweet for us; would recommend 50% or lower. There's a long bench against the wall that folks can sit on, however you might not be able to if you come in during a busy time or if you have a larger party. Prices are a bit lower than the other boba shops in the area.

Perfectly cooked boba (which is something I rarely say in Seattle, a city well known for world-class boba) and the lychee flavor was fun. I ordered 70% sweetness and the cashier recommended I try 50%, which was exactly what I wanted.

If you've ever been to Taiwan, you'd KNOW how iconic 50lan is overseas. This location is pretty on par to what I have had in Taipei. I recommend the Golden Bubble Milk Tea! Fragrant milk tea with perfectly QQ mini pearls. The drink is creamy without being too milky and it's still somehow refreshing. 70% sweet was good for me, but I'd recommend 50% sweet if you get boba.

Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! New spot near Koreatown for bubble tea! Location: it is located few block from Ktown, the interior is nice with few seatings to enjoy your bubble tea. Service: I just ordered and go, no interaction. Food: I ordered their Golden Bubble Milk tea! And it was good! The boba are not the big like other boba from other stores but it is gooey and chewey! The milk tea itself is delicate! Very classic taste. No pretending and this is how a milk tea should taste! Price rating: 7 out of 10. You get what you pay! Will definitely come back to try their other flavors, they have top 5 list!

On a new quest to consume more boba than coffee, and FIFTYLAN was my latest stop. Neat place with lots of space to wait, the person at the counter recommended ice and sugar levels and my lychee milk tea with popping bubbles and konjac jelly was perfect. On to the next one.

I grew up drinking 50 Lan in Taiwan - so i just HAD to try it when we passed by the 50 Lan near Ktown. Interior: this location is spacious and there are lots of seatings available. There were quite a lot of people during our visit (Saturday afternoon) but it didn't feel overly cramped. Drinks: we ordered a black tea latte with bubbles & green tea latte with bubbles. The black tea latte was significantly better, as the tea flavor for green tea latte was not strong enough to stand out. The bubbles were cooked well & not overly sweetened so I'm personally really happy with it. Service: the staffs here are efficient and friendly despite how busy it is. Taking one star off mainly due to limited drink and topping options. I would love to see the US 50 Lan also offers toppings like pudding and grass jelly! Nevertheless - it was good to see 50 Lan in Manhattan. Feel like I'm back home again seeing that classic 50 Lan cup! P.S. you can purchase the reusable cup holder/bag with $7. As a frequent boba drinker, I figured it's about time to get one hehe

* Peach Green Tea Macchiato 水蜜桃綠茶瑪奇朵 A refreshing and thirst-quenching drink to yield my boba (but actually not boba) cravings. I gulped down this tea within 10 minutes and immediately regretted not getting the L size! The first sip hit with sweetness from the peach, soon evolving into the taste of green tea. The milk foam itself was already sweetened, so I prefer having it without sugar. I'd suggest ordering 25% sugar if you have a tooth. Just keep in mind that you can't add any toppings if you order their macchiato drinks. Fiftylan is one of the more prominent boba tea chains from Taiwan, which I haven't had their bobas for at least a decade I was satisfied with the quality of my choice at their NYC store, and might be tempted to get another cup if I'm around that area.
